This medicine is used to reduce the risk of preterm birth in women with a previous history of miscarriage or late abortion.
This medicine is used for the treatment of menstrual abnormalities viz. lack of menstruation (amenorrhoea) and abnormal uterine bleeding.
Pain,swelling, and itching at the injection site (severe)
Lumps at the injections site
Anxiety (severe)
Chest pain and discomfort
Dizziness and fainting
Fast heartbeat (rare)
Redness of the skin especially on the face and neck (rare)
Increased appetite

This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a known history of allergy to progesterone or any other ingredient present with it. This medicine might contain castor oil and should never be used by patients who are allergic to this component.
This medicine is not recommended for use if you have an abnormal bleeding episode which has not been diagnosed by a doctor.
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients having a liver disease or impairment of normal liver function.
This medicine is not recommended for use if you have or are suspected of having hormone related cancer i.e breast or uterine cancer.
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients having an active or historic instance of stroke or heart attack. It should not be used by patients having an active or historic blood clotting disorder.
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients having severe and uncontrolled high blood pressure.
