When Not To Use

Acute critical illness

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with acute critical illness followed by open heart surgery, abdominal surgery, acute respiratory failure, or multiple accidental trauma due to the increased risk of mortality.

Prader-Willi Syndrome with associated complications

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with Prader-Willi Syndrome who are severely obese or have a severe respiratory disease due to the increased risk of mortality.

Active malignancy

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with an active malignancy due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient’s condition. Any preexisting malignancy should be inactive and its treatment course should be completed for therapy with this medicine to begin.

Diabetic retinopathy

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with active proliferative or severe non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient’s condition.

Closed epiphyses

This medicine is not recommended for growth promotion in children with closed epiphyses.

Allergy

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to Eutropin Injection 4 IU 1 Vial , benzyl alcohol, or any other inactive ingredients present in the formulation.
