Metabolic or respiratory alkalosis

This medicine is not recommended for use when the patient with metabolic or respiratory alkalosis due to the risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Hypocalcemia

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with hypocalcemia (low levels of calcium in the blood) due to the risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Hypochloremia

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with excessive chloride loss by vomiting or gastrointestinal suctioning due to the risk of worsening of the patient's condition.
