This medicine is used for the prevention of unwanted pregnancies. The oral tablet has to be taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex.
This medicine is also used in the form of vaginal insert or slow release oral tablets for long term prevention of pregnancies.

This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a known history of allergy to ECP tablet 0.75 mg 2’s or any other component present along with it.
This medicine is not recommended for use if the patient has episodes of abnormal bleeding from the vagina.
This medicine is not recommended for use if you have/had breast cancer.
This medicine is not recommended for use if you have had a bleeding disorder of the brain or have suffered from stroke recently.
This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a blood clotting disorder.
This medicine is not recommended for use if you have this rare genetic disorder of the blood and lymphatic system.
