This medicine is not taken in a scheduled way and hence missing a dose is not possible. However, care should be taken to not exceed the daily recommended limit.
Contact a doctor immediately if an overdose is suspected. Symptoms of overdose may include dizziness, confusion, severe stomach cramps and pain, constipation etc.

Imodium capsule 2 mg 10×6’s is also used to treat the symptoms of diarrhea associated with an infected gut, usually afflicting people who travel for a long duration of time.
Imodium capsule 2 mg 10×6’s is also used to reduce the amount of stool produced in people who have undergone this surgical procedure.

This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a known history of allergy to Imodium capsule 2 mg 10×6’s (the primary constituent of Imodium capsule 2 mg 10×6’s) .
This medicine is not recommended for use if you have stomach pain without loose stools.
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from an infected colon or infectious diarrhea/dysentery. Symptoms may include bloody stools and high fever. The infection could be caused by Clostridium, Salmonella, Shigella or Campylobacter strains of bacteria.
This medicine is not recommended for use if you have an episode of diarrhea caused by consumption of an antibiotic.
