Administer the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.
Seek immediate medical attention or contact the doctor if an overdose of this medicine is suspected. Hypoglycemia may occur in sequential stages if too high doses of DONGSULIN R 100IU Injection 10ml are administered. For mild hypoglycemic episodes, oral glucose or sugary products can be used to avoid severe hypoglycemia. If there is severe hypoglycemia, IM or SC glucagon or IV glucose needs to be administered by a trained healthcare professional. If there is no response to glucagon within 10 to 15 minutes, IV glucose is administered. It is recommended to give oral carbohydrates to avoid the relapse of hypoglycemic episodes when consciousness is regained.
