If a dose of Optacid 20.00% Eye Drops 10 ml is missed, instill the missed dose as soon as you remember it. If it is almost the time for the next dose, continue with the normal dosing schedule. Do not instill a double dose to make up for the forgotten dose.
Seek emergency medical treatment or contact a doctor immediately in case of an overdose.
Silver nitrate (moderate)
Optacid 20.00% Eye Drops 10 ml is used in the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis caused by Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Pseudomonas, and Hemophilus species. It relieves the itching and redness caused by the infection.
Optacid 20.00% Eye Drops 10 ml is used in the treatment of trachoma, an infection of the eye caused by Chlamydia trachomatis. This infection causes the inside of the eyelid to become scarred and turn inwards, causing permanent blindness.

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to Optacid 20.00% Eye Drops 10 ml or any of its components.
