This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to Uperio tablet 100 mg 28’s, or any other inactive ingredients present in the formulation.
Coadministration of aliskiren and this combination medicine is not recommended due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects. This risk is especially higher in the elderly population and in patients with diabetes and kidney diseases.
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of angioedema caused due to hereditary causes, or an unknown cause or associated with the use of medicines like an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor or an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It is recommended not to take ACE inhibitors within 36 hours of switching to or from this combination medicine.
